Follow-up Meeting Drought
Related issues in Dry Zone
Following the discussions
and recommendations of the first
coordination workshop on drought
-related issues in Dry Zone,
held in 25th September 2009, it
was decided that the follow- up
actions should focus on the
results of the WFP-led
assessment, fundraising for
special emergency funds if
necessary (worst case scenario)
and exploration agencies
harmonization for submitting
proposals to LIFT.

the thematic groups of CBFS
project and its major aim is to
build the capacities of farmers
in terms of participatory
learning opportunities on
sustainable agricultural systems
through Farmer Field Schools (FFSs).
World Concern Myanmar (WCM)
supports technology backstopping
of FFS on Sustainable
Agriculture.

 CF
is one of the key components of
the CBFS project in ensuring
access to land and forest
resources, and securing
community right and privilege
for their sustainable use of
natural resources by maintaining
local tradition, wisdom, equity
and indigenous knowledge. CBFS
Project has been supporting to
organizations and individuals
for promoting community forestry
across the country.
